Molded diallyl phthalate cable hoods protect

soldered wires and facilitate disengagement

of connectors. Cable clamps provide

additional strain relief and support. They are

supplied on hoods with “

C” in the code

number. Clamps are cadmium plated with

olive drab iridite finish. Anodized aluminum

hoods are precision machined from bar stock

to give greater strength than die cast units.

Cable clamps are machined as an integral

part of the connector. The set screw prevents

accidental disassembly from vibration, etc. A

polyethylene sleeve liner provides added

insulation in the terminal area.
