Differential skew between the Voa and Vob signals can cause spikes in the common- mode, which the receiver needs to be able to reject. VCM_AC is measured as the absolute peak deviation from the mean DC VCM common-mode. Transmitter Eye Mask Figure 14: Transmitter Eye Mask Figure 14 defines the eye mask for the transmitter. 0.5 UI point is the instantaneous crossing point of the Clock. The area in white shows the area Data is prohibited from crossing into.
