Data Memory Addressing

Forthesedevicesthatsupporttheextendedinstructions,thereisnoBankPointerforDataMemory

addressing.ForDataMemorythedesiredSectorispointedbytheMP1HorMP2Hregisterandthe

certainDataMemoryaddressintheselectedsectorisspecifiedbytheMP1LorMP2Lregisterwhen

usingindirectaddressingaccess.

DirectAddressingcanbeusedinallsectorsusingthecorrespondinginstructionwhichcanaddress

allavailabledatamemoryspace.Fortheaccesseddatamemorywhichislocatedinanydata

memorysectorsexceptsector0,theextendedinstructionscanbeusedtoaccessthedatamemory

insteadofusingtheindirectaddressingaccess.Themaindifferencebetweenstandardinstructions

andextendedinstructionsisthatthedatamemoryaddress"m"intheextendedinstructionshasupto

10validbits,thehighbyteindicatesasectorandthelowbyteindicatesaspecificaddress.

protectedandarereadableonly,thedetailsofwhicharelocatedundertherelevantSpecialFunction
