With two reference pins, the midpoint of the output voltage can be adjusted for system circuitry connections
to analog to digital converters (ADCs) or other amplifiers. The reference pins can be connected directly to
supply, ground, or a low-impedance reference voltage. The reference pins can be connected together and
biased by using a resistor divider to achieve a custom output voltage. Please use the output as a differential
signal with respect to the resistor divider voltage when the amplifier is used in this configuration (see Figure
17). Because the internal impedance shifts can adversely affect device performance, it is not recommended
to use of the amplifier output as a single-ended signal in this configuration.

9.3.4. Calculating total error
The typical individual errors are mentioned in the EC table, such as gain error, offset error and nonlinearity
error. However, total error, which includes all of the individual error components, is not shown in the EC
table. To calculate the error accurately, the operating conditions of the device should be considered firstly.
For some current shunt monitors, a total error in shown in the product data sheet. However, specifying such
total error has little practical value because this total error term is accurate under only one particular set of
operating conditions. It means that any deviation from these specific operating conditions will change the
total error value. For the device under normal operating conditions, this section will discuss the individual
error sources and how to apply them to calculate the total error value.
The typical error sources that have the largest impact on the total error of the device are input offset voltage,
