The WM8608 also supports Stereo input – Stereo output via the Bass Management filtering

options, as discussed in Bass Management (page 29). In this case, the output configuration is

set to 2.1.

Where there are a different number of input and output channels, the data is processed as follows.

Refer to the section on Bass Management (page 29) for details on how the sub-channel is created.
