7.6.41

Fast Write Message

On receiving the Fast Write Message command, the ST25DVxxKC puts the data contained in the request into the

mailbox buffer, updates the Message Length register MB_LEN_Dyn, and set Mailbox loaded bit RF_PUT_MSG.

It then reports if the write operation was successful in the response. The ST25DVxxKC mailbox contains up to

256 data bytes which are filled from the first location '00'. MSGlength parameter of the command is the number

of Data bytes minus - 1 (00 for 1 byte of data, FFh for 256 bytes of data). Fast Write Message can be executed

only when Mailbox is accessible by RF (previous RF message was read or time-out occurs, no I2C message to be

read). User can check it by reading b1 of MB_CTRL_Dyn “HOST_PUT_MSG”, which must be reset to “0”. (refer

to Section 5.1 Fast transfer mode (FTM)).

The data rate of the response is multiplied by 2 compared to Write Message command.
