M27500 SA and TA cables

are shielded and

jacketed cables with PTFE tape or extruded PFA

jackets, incorporating MIL-W-22759/7 or /8 wires.

These component wires are insulated with light-

weight mineral-ﬁlled PTFE, and have silver-plated or

nickel-plated copper conductors.

Versions with PTFE tape jackets are available with

our unique Seamless Wrap PTFE tape (see page 87

for details).

Voltage rating:

600V.

Temperature ratings:

Cables with /7 component wires: -55 to 200˚ C.

Cables with /8 component wires: -55 to 260˚ C.

Construction Details

Component wire conductor:

/7 component wires: Silver-plated copper;

/8 component wires: Nickel-plated copper.

Component wire insulation:

Extruded PTFE with abrasion-resistant mineral ﬁllers.

Shield:

Nickel- or silver-plated copper braid, 85% coverage.

Jacket:

Extruded PFA or PTFE tape.

Colors:

Color coded to M27500 (see page 67).

Certiﬁcations also available to NEMA WC27500.
