M27500 NL cables

are shielded and jacketed cables

with a jacket of FEP/polyimide tape, incorporating

MIL-DTL-81381/22 wires.

These component wires have an insulation of two

layers of FEP/polyimide/FEP tape with a polyimide

hard coat for increased cut-through and abrasion

resistance.

The component wires have tin-plated copper

conductors.

Voltage rating:

600V.

Temperature rating:

-55 to 150˚ C.

Construction Details

Component wire conductor:

Tin-plated copper.

Component wire insulation:

Two layers of FEP/polyimide/FEP tape with

modiﬁed aromatic polyimide coating.

Shield:

Tin-plated copper braid, 85% coverage.

Jacket:

Natural polyimide/FEP tape, wrapped and

heat sealed, with polyimide outer surface.

Colors:

Color coded to M27500 (see page 67).

Certiﬁcations also available to NEMA WC27500.
